Following a needs assessment with the group’s primary stakeholders, a training agenda is developed to meet the needs of the organization i.e. content, length of training, tools and skills to be developed.     Conflict awareness training increases the participants' understanding of the nature of conflict, therefore, reducing its frequency and negative impact.

    Essential to a preventative approach to dealing with conflict is understanding the basic behavioral skills associated with effective communication proficiencies. Skills may include: active listening, the art of questioning and reframing. 
     
  • Negotiation
    At the heart of preventing and managing conflict is an individual's ability to competently ask for what he or she wants and understanding the needs of the other to achieve a mutually satisfying outcome. Negotiation training focuses on interest-based negotiation. 
     
  • Mediation
