primary stakeholders, a training agenda is developed to meet the needs of
the organization i.e. content, length of training, tools and skills to be
developed. Training is designed to meet the needs of adult learners focusing
on interactive and experiential learning.

- Conflict Awareness
Conflict awareness training increases the participants' understanding of
the nature of conflict, therefore, reducing its frequency and negative
impact.
- Effective
Communications
Essential to a preventative approach to dealing with conflict is
understanding the basic behavioral skills associated with effective
communication proficiencies. Skills may include: active listening, the
art of questioning and reframing.
- Negotiation
At
the heart of preventing and managing conflict is an individual's ability
to competently ask for what he or she wants and understanding the needs of
the other to achieve a mutually satisfying outcome. Negotiation
training focuses on interest-based negotiation.
- Mediation
In
order for managers or team leaders to be more competent in handling
workplace disputes, understanding the principles of mediation and
third-party intervention assists with the management of those situations
